Where Is My Fitbit Account

Fitbit support on twitter described the notification as a 'a bug that we're working on a fix,' but one of the forum moderators (forum link, login required) is saying the notification needs to be running in order for the new notification service to stay alive. So I kinda suspect they're working on it by hoping everyone gets over it at some point.
