Each production includes a great staff of professional singers, dancers, wardrobes, lighting staff, and hair and makeup. Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat is the new production at the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge. This show takes the audience directly to the scenes in Joseph’s life, like when he was sold into slavery by his brothers. The audience also sees when he was accused of trying to sleep with another man’s wife, and then when he met a couple of interesting characters in jail where he interpreted dreams. Finally, the audience gets to see Joseph reconnect with his brothers and once again find peace in his family life. This theatre production was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and it’s great costumes, great actors, and great story are sure to tickle your funny bone and leave you feeling inspired. The Miracle show is the older show at the theatre and is a recreation of the stories in the Bible about the life of Christ. Audience members will be taken directly to the scene when Jesus was born and angesl pronounced his glory. They’ll see when Jesus calmed the raging waters during his boat trip with the disciples. Jesus’ ascension will remind visitors of what his ultimate goal was for coming to the world. This is the older of the two shows at the Miracle Theatre and it only ran for three months in 2010.
